Essentials and Practicum

These 1 ½ day training events are based on the 2 ½ day, intensive No Man Left Behind Conference, regional events held throughout the country.The Essentials and Practicum are designed to be done sequentially for maximum impact.

The Essentialscourse provides a comprehensive training on all the concepts of the No Man Left Behind Model and is approximately 85% teaching and 15% discussion/application. Attendees leave with the training, tools and game plan needed to develop an implementation plan in the weeks that follow the event.

Essentials concepts include:  The “Case” for Men’s Ministry, Five Types of Men, Portal Priority of Discipleship, The Man Code, All-Inclusive Ministry to Men, Developing and Communicating Your Vision, Creating Momentum by Providing Value, and more.

The Practicum course provides an overview of the No Man Left Behind Model and then allows teams of leaders to work in conjunction with a LTC Trainer to complete a detailed action plan for their ministries. This event is 15% teaching and 85% discussion/application. After consultation with the trainer and discussion among other churches in attendance, attendees leave with a customized men’s discipleship program, including goals, expectations, discipleship curriculum overview and a calendar.

Practicum application exercises include:  Leadership Team Audit; Men’s Discipleship Audit; Vision Communication Plan; Men’s Discipleship Calendar; The Head, Heart & Hands of a Disciple; and more.
